Peppermint Oil and Tea for Migraine and Headache

 


I used to have headaches and migraine easily. Almost a few times a week. I used to take paracetamol every time they attacked me. However, the frequency of headaches and migraines has never reduced at all. It just relieved the pain at that moment.

One day, I decided to stop taking medicine/pills. If I'm home, I will take a shower first. After the shower, I will make myself a cup of hot peppermint tea. While letting it sit for a few minutes,  I'll massage my forehead, temples and back of the neck with some peppermint oil (pre-mixed with carrier oil-coconut oil). Of course, resting well is essential too.

Once I've stopped relying on medicines, the frequency of having headaches and migraines reduced tremendously for years now.

Besides, peppermint oil helps me to stay focused and relaxed too.
